A passive aggressive superiority complex that projects altruism on the exterior, while deep down inside is self serving and narcissistic. This type of person will always have a hidden motivation when they give a gift and likes to be the center of attention at events that feature other people, like birthday parties and wedding celebrations. This type of person also very often speaks for other people without their consent.

Joe's birthday is today and he decides to celebrate at his favorite steakhouse. Pat suffers from romanoism and tells Joe that he doesn't like that particular steakhouse and that they should go to the one he likes instead. When Joe disagrees, Pat goes off to eat on his own while everyone hangs out with Joe and celebrates his birthday.
