Rep-whoring

On TSR when you realise that the only thing that matters is accruing rep points and showing off your gems.

So your posts become about getting rep, either through posting early on a thread with something witty or sucking up to other members with lots of rep.

It can become quite obvious at which point you get a reputation for being a rep whore or, as the gems are green colour- a greendigger.

"Classic greendigging behaviour"

"That user always thirsts for rep from the boys with all the gems, classic rep-whore"
