Plural logico‑epistemology
A meta‑framework that accepts the coexistence of multiple, sometimes incommensurable logical and epistemological systems, each valid within its own domain. It rejects the idea that there is a single “correct” logic or epistemology for all purposes. Classical logic works for mathematics, paraconsistent logic for inconsistent databases, fuzzy logic for control systems, and dialectical logic for social change. Plural logico‑epistemology encourages epistemic humility and methodological flexibility, recognizing that different problems call for different tools, and no one system has a monopoly on truth.
Example: “Her plural logico‑epistemology meant she used Bayesian reasoning for diagnostic tests, fuzzy logic for risk assessment, and paraconsistent logic for legal evidence—each appropriate to its context.”
