Nigel Thornberry

Nigel Thornberry, originally a cartoon character on the 90s Nickelodeon series The Wild Thornberrys. He's portrayed as an adventurous wildlife documentarian who often rambles in an indiscernible English accent.

He recently became an internet meme, featuring his random ramblings of put into songs such as Firework by Katy Perry, Blah Blah Blah by Ke$ha, and Bad Romance by Lady Gaga.

He's also been featured in GIFs, and traditional meme captions saying things like "They said I could be anything, so I became a BLARGHHARGHHH!" and "Keep calm and BLARGHHARGHH on."

In conclusion, Nigel Thornberry is the most awesome cartoon ever. And if you disagree, you can go blarghharghhh yourself.

Fogey/fogy /fougi/ sl. (early 18C+, orig. Scot) old-fashioned, stuck-in-the mud.
Person with old fashioned ideas which he is unwilling to change: Come to the disco and stop being such an old fogey!
You think me an old fogeyand an old tory, his thoughtful voice said. I saw three generations since O’Connel’s time. I remember the famine. Do you know that the orange lodges agitated for repeal of the union twenty years before O’Connel did or before the prelates of your communion denounced him as a demagogue? You fenians forget some things. (James Joyce, Ulysses. Penguin Books,1992. p. 38)
