marde

Quebecker/French Canadian version of the French merde, meaning shit, though may not be used in the same expressions or situations. You'll hear "Bordel de merde" in France quite often, but "Bordel de marde" just doesn't make any sense in Canada.
It is one of the very few French Canadian swears that isn't related to church stuff.

Chu dans' marde. (I'm in deep shit)
Mange d'la marde. (Eat shit: Go fuck yourself)
Maudite marde! (Fucking shit!)
Ça vaut pas de la marde. (It's not even worth shit)

Note: None of these should be replaced by "merde" in France.

Wal-Marde

Wal Marde is a french, specifically from Quebec in Canada, parody of Wal Mart found commonly on t-shirts. Marde is French, and means shit in English, although it spelled incorrectly. Merde is the correct spelling, but as a result of Wal Mart being involved, the t-shirts say Wal Marde.

Manger de la marde

Expression used in Québec, that could be translated in English by '' Eat shit ''. The expression is most of the time used to insult a person or an object.

1. Mike: Le directeur veut que tu passes le voir à son bureau. (The principal wants you to go meet him at his office.)
Joe : Ah, qu'il mange de la marde. (He may just eat a truck loaded of shit.)

2. Elvis Gratton (trying to install a chair on the beach): Qu'a mange d'la marde e***! (Elvis Gratton - La Chaisse)
