Manipulidism 

The intentional act of pretending to be manipulated by someone in order to avoid conflict, keep the peace, or make the other person feel like they’re "winning"—while secretly remaining in control of the situation.

It’s not weakness. It’s strategic surrender with a touch of emotional aikido.
> — Did you really agree with your boss about that terrible idea?
— Yep… pure manipulidism. No way I was starting that argument.
