In his book "family doesn't end on blood but it doesn't start there either" and "family is the you'd fight for and the ones who'll fight for you".these believes are there because there is a lot of bad blood between him and his birth family, but as he said isn't necessarily the ones who you share blood with but the ones who refuses to leave your side no matter the consequences, even if you beg them to.

church hurt

church hurt is where you experience a degree of distance, pain, or judgement from your church community. Essentially, you are just unable to “find your place”. This is prevalent in the Christian community, but can be extended to other religions.
