"Spare some change?" or "Got some smokes?" Polite phrase used by New Zealanders when begging for something like money or cigarettes. Literally, from Maori, "where's my gift?"
The correct response is to reply in the same way, cancelling out the other request.
"Kia ora, bro, that's an awesome bottle of beer, eh"? Kia ora, bro, you can chuck it at a car when I'm finished, eh"?

Phrase commonly used in New Zealand by locals to say "hi". "Kia Ora" is of the Maori language for "hello", but New Zealander's often add on bro intending a friendly manner.
