Grunts.... Age of the Corps, 234 years of ass kicking, ball busting, days of death and destruction. Where every day's a holiday and every meal's a feast. We are A.L.I.C.E. pack operated, M.R.E. feed, beer cooled, green amphibious monsters who thrive on war. GRUNTS, Ooh-Fuckin-Rah!!!

Grunts are U.S. Army soldiers. The word "Grunt" is used in a similer fashion to "Jarhead" for the Marine Corps.
In recent times, Grunt is used to refer to an Army soldier of the combat arms branches, being Infantry ("Grunt"), Armor ("Tanker"), and Cavalry Scout ("Girl Scout") although it is still understood to mean the Army in general.

A grunt is a noun first coined in by Yourragegaming who streams on the platform known as twitch to describe someone who is currently watching the stream but is not currently subscribed to the streamer, the grunts are usually presented as the lowest members of twitches social hierarchy because they have the least amount of power and capability. Which is of course because of the fact that the people who are subbed have to pay 5 bucks and therefore valued higher by the streamer because they are the ones getting a percent of the money. In other words the term grunt is used by streamers like YourRage to devalue the people that don’t get him money in order to scam people in to subscribing so YourRage can pretend like they mean more than they actually do in order to scam them out of 5 bucks. Of course this isn’t really surprising, the fact that he turned this word into one of his scam tactics, considering his history .
