Floater Friend

A floater friend is someone who knows a lot of people but isn't really close with any of them. A lot of the time floater friends feel left out as all their friends prefer someone over them. They tend to 'float' around different friend groups

Marnie: I hate being a floater friend. I feel so left out, you know?
Jack: "Huh? Oh sorry I was talking to Andrew"
Marnie: :(

Floater Friend

A person you have no real connection with. They are somebody who you don't remember meeting but you are still 'friends'. You say 'hey' in the hallways and classes but you really never hang out.

Yeah, she's a Floater Friend. I don't remember how we met, but we say hey in class.
