faroe islands

A small country in the north west corner of europe, midway between iceland and scotland. they are inhabited by vikings. Or more exactly those who seeked more adventure than the average scandinavian.
While the average scandinavian was farming the real vikings sailed west in stormy weater and reached faroe islands, iceland and greenland. Being a small country doesn't automaticaly mean that there must be much inbreeding.
There live about 48000 people there and more and more are moving there.
Faroe islands have some nordic records.:

Fewest suicides
Highest Fertility rate
Lowest unimployment
Fewest abortions
Fewest divortions

People from any other country: "Where are you from?"
Faroe Islander: "Faroe Islands"
People from any other country: "Where?!?"
Faroe Islander: "Faroe Islands"
People from any other country: "Where is that?"
Faroe Islander: "Denmark"
People from any other country: "Ahh okay"
Faroe Islands is the most beautiful country in the world.

Faroe Islands

A unique, remote island culture in the North Atlantic, where widespread inbreeding has lowered IQs, making it difficult to convince residents that dolphins are not actually fish and that jet skis and power boats were probably not part of the tradition of Viking hunting practice hundreds of years ago. The consumption of apex predators such as dolphins by Faroe Islanders makes matters worse as the high levels of Mercury and other heavy metals damage the already overworked central nervous system
Normal Man: “Where are you from?”
Faroe man “Faroe Islands”
Normal Man: “Ah, so you kill dolphins as there’s nothing else to do on your 18 cold wet islands/rocks other than sleeping with your sister?”
Faroe man “it’s traditional to eat the fish”
Normal Man: “Hats off to your mother for marrying your brother”

Faroe Islands

It is a small "country" consisting of a few islands and even fewer people. A lot of sheep. Genetic diseases are 30% more normal due to inbreeding. Half of the people are fanatically Christian while the other half are fanatically atheist. Very interesting.... Come to the Faroe Islands but don't live there!

Faroe Islands

A small windswept archipelago in the North Atlantic, where sheep outnumber the human inhabitants.

An autonomous, constituent country in the Kingdom of Denmark, its capital city is Tórshavn.
The national anthem of the Faroe Islands is: " alfagra land mítt" (Thou, fairest land of mine)

Situated south-east of Iceland, northwest of Orkney and Shetland isles, and west of Norway.
Home to over ~50k people, many of whom live in the capital city of Tórshavn, and in their native tongue they call themselves the 'føroyingar', and they call their islands 'Føroyar', which is generally believed to mean "sheep islands".

While being only a small ethnic group, on isolated islands, the Faroese have protected their language from foreign influence through folk songs and oral sagas, which have also recorded the epic history of the Faroe Islands.
Person 1: "I'll be visiting the Faroe Islands for my holiday"
Person 2: "The what islands?"
Person 1: "Faroe Islands, they are very beautifal, their national anthem says so."
Person 2: "Oh... where are they?"
Person 1: "...*sighs* Denmark, they are an autonomous country in the Kingdom of Denmark, but they are not Danish"
Person 2: "Lovely, I'd love to see photos from your visit"

The word 'flag' as pronounced by people with thick Belfast accents. The term is a perfect encapsulation of the disproportionate and overblown reaction to the removal of the Union Jack (as in 'de fleg') from above City Hall in Belfast. Where previously it had flown for 365 days per year, it is now flown on 17 designated days of the year - in line with many other British cities.

The event caused a portion of the Protestant community ('fleggers') to make international pricks of themselves as they proceeded to wreck the fucking place, claiming it was another erosion of a 'British' identity they perceive to have been under attack since the horrifying spectre of equality reared its head in Northern Ireland.

The word 'fleg' - and indeed 'fleggers' - fittingly describes a section of humanity unconcerned with knowledge, reality or the vagaries of the English language. Like America's tea-baggers they are ruled by instinct, fear and paranoia with a side dish of rampant bigotry and startling ignorance of the world around them.
"Wat de fuck like! The taigs got de fleg took down! Let's wreck de fuckin place! No surrender!"

"De fleg has been took down! Before ye know it there'll be a united Ireland! Attack Short Strand! God Save The Queen!"
