Extempt

How uneducated/uncultured people in the world of Speech and Debate spell the event extemp. This spelling is particularly cringe and nonsensical as the full term for extemp is "extemporaneous speaking", where there is literally no "t" after extemp. If you spell or say it this way, you will receive ridicule and will be slapped with the face with Brookings Institution/Economist articles by every extemper within a 100 mile radius.

Sally: "He competed in extempt throughout high school."
Chad: "It's not extempt you reverse think tank, its EXTEMP"

Work exempt

(Adjective) Phrase used by social workers to describe a person who is is deficit or has an abnormality in their physical or mental capabilities, lacks acceptable social skills, or is incorrigible to the core. Such persons are incapable of getting, having or keeping a steady job of any kind.

Nikki went to the unemployment office today and got some bad news. He got told he was 'work exempt' which is a nice way of phrasing that he can't get or keep a job.

A right invoked by males in their twenties to NOT do what is socially expected of most adults.

Bob: Normally, I would say you should get Joe a gift for having his first baby, but you may be able to invoke your Clueless 20-something single male exemption, and do nothing.
