Esme: Someone eager for gossip. The term Esme is used rarely now but still can be heard in some parts of Australia. Origin may of started from a character named Esme Watson in A Country Practice an Australian TV series.
If you want to know what your boss does on the week end ask Sheila,she's a real Esme.Though I would rely on that info as being 100% accurate LOL.
