"E" is a letter in the English, German, Spanish, French, and other types of alphabets. "E" is the most frequent letter in the English language. (This includes all types of English, example: Canadian English.)
You see E's in all types of words, and names.

Examples:

"The", "They", Their".
"Emma", "Emily", "Elizabeth".
England, America, Germany.
"Beer", "Bear", "Bare".
It's extremely common due to the fact it's a vowel, and I suppose it just... is.

Even besides that, it's a popular meme in certain games.
Mainly among small children.
E can be used to describe an emotion that you cannot describe.
Examples:
(Ben) "How are you doing today, Jerry?"
(Jerry) "E"

-Friend murders you in a video game-
(Friend) "HAHA, GOT YOU!"
(You) "EEEEEEEEEEEE"

-Someone gives you a gift you don't love-
(Them) "Awe, here you go! Happy birthday, you!"
(You) "...E."

-It's an English Quiz-
(LA Teacher) Today we're doing an essay, it's due next Friday. We shall be focusing on the usage of the English letter "e".
(Your Essay) :
"E is an English letter used by children and typists. You've probably used e. I don't like e. You don't, either - at least if you played the strings, mainly viola or violin. Those things screamed bloody murder, and I wish they didn't exist. However, I am using e's right now, so I suppose I'm going against what I'm saying. Anyways, back to the actual essay.
Emily elected Emma for the student presidential candidate, they were the best of enemies, so it was all equal. Emily yeeted a pencil at Emma's head because she regret giving her the spot.

Emma glared back at Emily, giving her an evil look . She glared into Emily's true-blue eyes, and then stabbed them both. Needless to say, Emily never even talked to Emma ever again, and Emma got her fine revenge."
(You got an F-, whatever that means.)

-Children-

(Creepy Uncle) "Hey there, sweetie!"
(Child) "e"

E is commonly used as a response to something you don't have a proper response for, it is also commonly used in 'dank' or 'deep fried' memes. Apparently the meme is associated with Lord Farquaad (the main antagonist of the popular film Shrek) and due to the absolute chaos that is meme culture a YTP artist decided to make a video titled "Shrek but only when Lord Farquaad says E" The letter was a meme before this but the video brought it back into meme culture.
