Cruckle

To cruckle is to go over on one's ankle. A common phrase in Rochdale but apparently nowhere else in the world.

'Did you just cruckle on that kerb?'
'Yeah, it's absolutely killing'

Cruckle

A cross between a cry and a chuckle; the sound you make when you chuckle while crying. It can be used as a verb as well.

For example; Kajini cruckled as her friends tried to cheer her up with jokes post her break up.

Another example; Danica was left cruckling when she realised how sad her life is.
