Costa Coffee

A coffee chain in the U.K. known for its controversial optional policy of imposing a minimum age of 16 to purchase caffeinated coffee, introduced in response to the U.K. government's ban on selling energy drinks to teens. This policy is seen as contentious because a) children and young teens don't drink that much coffee compared to adults, b) it's difficult to gauge which Costa Coffee have stricter policy in banning the sale of caffeinated coffee to children under 16 — this is very dissimilar to the common fact that cinemas with more visitors have stricter policies on movie age ratings compared to smaller cinemas.
With Costa Coffee's age policy, it seems like they're treating coffee like it's a dangerous energy drink, which just confuses parents!

Person with old fashioned ideas which he is unwilling to change: Come to the disco and stop being such an old fogey!
You think me an old fogeyand an old tory, his thoughtful voice said. I saw three generations since O’Connel’s time. I remember the famine. Do you know that the orange lodges agitated for repeal of the union twenty years before O’Connel did or before the prelates of your communion denounced him as a demagogue? You fenians forget some things. (James Joyce, Ulysses. Penguin Books,1992. p. 38)

church hurt

church hurt is where you experience a degree of distance, pain, or judgement from your church community. Essentially, you are just unable to “find your place”. This is prevalent in the Christian community, but can be extended to other religions.
Now that I am an adult I am beginning to heal from the church hurt that was inflicted on me as a child.
