A Squaresoft game released on the PlayStation, and the sequel to Chrono Trigger. Often looked down on simply because it's not a clone of Chrono Trigger, which is a downright silly thing to expect. The plot requires that you actually pay attention to what's going on, which also adds to many people's dislike of the game. And finally, the game requires you to do more than just mash buttons in a pleasing combination, so many people are put off by the fact that they have to use their brains just to win battles. It's a good game, though, as long as you're willing to think about what you're doing.

One awesome video game; it is part of the Chrono series, which also includes Chrono Trigger and Radical Dreamers. It has been discontinued by Square-Enix because they're stupid fucktards when it comes to running a business (which basically explains why they're bankrupt) and are too obsessed with the Final Fantasy series to make any other games. -_-.

The best game ever!!! Third sequel to Chrono Trigger. At first glance it seems as though it has nothing to do with Chrono Trigger, but it does! Very philosophical and profound for a video game.

Commonly compared to Chrono Trigger, which is unnecessary. They're both amazing, live in peace, people.
If you're a open minded person who just loves a nice, intricate plot topped with strategy this will probably be the best game you EVER play.
Unfortunately, this isn't a button mashing, tedious, dumb Final Fantasy game or a game that basically screams "HAIL CHRONO TRIGGER!" And this is why people hate this game.
Furthermore, this game dosn't have the best opening since it confuses dumb 10 year olds. But if you can make it to Fort Dragonia (40% through), you will make it to one of the most SHOCKING plot twists, EVER. And then the game just spirals out of control, with this amazing, deep plot and strategic battle system.

A scar on the face of Chrono Trigger's franchise. This game is a decent Stand-Alone title, but it is, in fact, a HORRIBLE sequel.

The sequel to Chrono Trigger which has over 40 characters, most of which are crappy and you'll never use them, but they show up to annoy you anyway. Like the prequel, it has several different endings, the main ending rewards you with three hours of Kid talking. I'm sure she says...useful things. I fell asleep, I don't know.
Chrono Cross is the sequel to Chrono Trigger, and it would be okay if it weren't for characters like Mojo and Starky.
