Bread Thieves

A catch-all phrase for Australians, many of whom had ancestors deported to the colonies for stealing loaves of bread.

The tradition continues to this day with their politicians often being caught with their snouts in the trough and corruption being rampant.
Did you see any of the cricket? Nah the dirty bread thieves probably bowled another underarm delivery when they were about to lose again!
