Probably the most influential and imitated rock band of the 20th century, these four men from England shaped not only music to this day, but started a youth revolution during the 1960's that gave the "under 30 crowd" many of the freedoms we still enjoy today. Those who disagree are either ignorant or jealous.
The moment that changed American history as we know it: 'Ladies and Gentlemen, the Beatles...'

The Beatles are the best band EVER. For those who hate them and are obsessed with the new crap, the Beatles had 27, yes 27, number one hits. That's probably more than any of the guys you Beatle-haters (the worst word I can think of on the face of this planet) listen to will put up COMBINED in their careers. Beat it, Beatle-haters (it pains me to say it) and go listen to your wannabe crap music. The Beatles never get obnoxious or blow people's ears out with relentless screaming.
The Beatles take all crappy musicians out behind the woodshed and beat them with their instruments. All of their songs are good and never get obnoxious. I'd have a hard time picking good songs because there are so many good ones!

A rock and roll band started in early 1960's Liverpool, England. Originally comprised of John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, Stu Sutcliffe (who died in Hanburg, Germany in the early 1960s), and Pete Best (who was ousted from the band); gained fame as John, Paul, George, and Ringo Starr. Appeared in America in February, 1964 on the Ed Sullivan Show as the beginning of the British Invasion. Initially managed by Brian Epstein, who died in the late 1960s. Broke up in 1970 but during their tenure as an act released some 150 songs in multiple languages and has since been considered the greatest and most influential rock band in the history of the world.
The Beatles are the greatest band in the history of mankind, and if you don't agree you are either: (1) deaf; or (2) an idiot.
