Incredibly talented emcee. He has the illest flow in the game, hands down. His music is so fluid and smooth, and his rhymes are intelligent, but still street-wise He isn't about whores or the bling-bling.
AZ is the best emcee to come out of Queens, IMO (yes, better than Nas). Made his first appearance on Nas' "Life's a Bitch" off of the Illmatic album, and has worked with Nas alot. Every single hip-hop fan should own his album Doe or Die

AZS is a form of saying "arigatou" in japanese slang. Commonly used from people who text,twitter,blog or do anything else on the internet.(It's pronounced AZASU)

Correction!!! for the dude who said best outta Queens. Az is from Brownsville, Brooklyn. But everything else you said is true. AZ is the illest. His flow is crazy fluid, ill street schooler. Pimpin past 12 inch which is past a class ruler. Pimpin in the since of pimpin the game, takin it ova, on the road to most notorious fame. Came from kane slangin to hangin a platinum plaque on his wall. Point blank, added wit point game, that just equal SCORE. What more can i say, like black album jay. But no retirement soon, he bout as high as the moon. Droppin poppin albums from out of january to june. Plus pass dat to december, droopin tracks dat cats remeber. The nigga who when first started, to other rappers became the end ta.

(Spelled Az or Azz) This word originated in a smoky Annapolis/Crownsville, MD loft but quickly caught on and has since taken on various meanings. Originally, the word was a simple exclamation comparable to "Damn!" or "Word!" If something was particularly astounding, the word "great" could be added as a prefacing qualifier, resulting in the exclamation "Great Az!" This pronouncement could also be used as a subtle indicator that a person was attracted to someone. While walking behind the object of their affection with a friend, one could exclaim "Great Az!" as if responding to something that was said by their friend, but also insinuating that they found the rump before them to be desirable. Unfortunately, the word's true meaning has been diluted by it's over-use as a form of the word "ass."
