Armagh Rovers 

Armagh Rovers is a football team from Armagh that plays in the Mid Ulster Football League. What makes Armagh Rovers unique from all other football teams in the world is that it is only open to players who are homosexual.

Armagh Rovers greatest defeat was against Red Star FC who beat them 4-1.

Armagh Omelette

A style of omelette cooked in Armagh.
The omelette is prepared before creamy mashed potatoes are added and the omelette is folded over, creating a pocket of creamy mash inside the omelette.

Autonomous region of Ireland. Famous for it's rolling hills covered in army watchtowers. This is where the Barrack Buster became famous.

Armageddon garden 

A garden you plant to sustain your life during the hard times your paranoid mind is telling will come soon, like world wars, alien invasions, dirty nuclear terrorist attack, massive chinese hacking or zombie pandemics.
Example: "When the grid goes down and lines of distribution are cut, we will have enough produce from our own gardens to keep ourselves alive" (from the Armageddon Garden Club).

trucker's tan 

A sunburn or suntan focused on the left arm. It is caused by the left side of the body being the only half that gets exposed to sunlight while driving. Presumably, it would be located on the right side of the body in countries where they drive on the left side of the road.
I had a trucker's tan after driving for 10 straight hours on a sunny day.

British slang for a scientist or technical expert, esp . when the speaker is not certain of the expert’s specific field of study. Not necessarily derogatory, but typically used by persons without a technical background. In the US, the equivalent would be “egghead”, “squint”, or “geek.”

Origin of the word is unknown. Started sometime in World War 2. Given the typical evolution of British slang, could easily have started because what these experts did was confusing or “baffling” to the common person.
According to the boffins downstairs, the murderer used a serrated blade.
