A girl (or guy) that looks hot from a distance of at least 40ft, mostly through nice hair or shapely curves. but up close at say, 10ft they are not hot at all. usually because of things unnoticed at a distance like zits, facial hair, bad teeth, man hands , etc.

guy1: dude that chick over there is bangin !

guy2: naw man, she's a 40-10.
