One who spends large portions of his or her time on the site Urban Dictionary aimlessly typing in letters to see what weird definitions others have written.
In addition, this group of people occasionally write their own definitions in an attempt to be funny.
But worst of all, UrbanDictionary Nerds are simply filthy hypocrites.

Any science related media including magazines and television on the topics of math, physics, geology, cosmology etc that excites a self described nerd.
I was watching the science channel and my girlfriend accused me of wanting to look at Nerd Porn instead of her.

Someone who has good grades, but also still makes time for friends and good times. They do wear glasses, but the type that you see in magazines not on harry potter. They own high socks and sweater vests, but at the same time they do not scare away all of the male species by making it look like a fashion disaster. They manage to look quirky, instead of a social leper.
Man she's a preppy nerd, I'd whisk her away from the library.
She's actually out partying, she must be a preppy nerd, not a grosse nerd.
I'm in love with a preppy nerd, she may be smart, but she's hot.

A member of a high school orchestra. They dispise Band Geeks because they always seem to steal the spotlight in Orchestra. Who allowed wind players in a string ensemble, anyway?
