Related to Godwins Law. Only instead of comparing an event to those of Nazis or Hitler, Iantos Law will claim the death of a fictional character is equal to or worse than the death of a real person.
Named after the death of fictional character Ianto Jones in BBC sci-fi drama special "Torchwood: Children of Earth". This death was taken badly by fans of the gay character, leading some to even claim it was equally or more traumatic that the deaths of actual friends or relatives.

The Law created by Eric.
His word is always final, and never wrong.

McCloy's Law, the law of single issue reduction stupidity: All arguments (no matter how tangential) are judged by the single issue obsessed over by the voter.
The candidate's plan was bilaterally approved as "a real solution to end world hunger and poverty, get rid of the deficit, solve all crime and conflict worldwide, explore mars, and generally be awesome for everyone", however Bob said it was garbage because it didn't address net neutrality. This is a classic example of McCloy's Law because Bob judged the whole plan on the single issue that he's obsessed over.

A child-centred variant of Murphy's Law. Smurphy's Law posits that no plan or act can unfold properly in the presence of children. (Note: first defined by the Canadian artist Paul Walde.) Also called Smurfy's Law.
Example 1: A small, toilet-trained child will only wet themselves when it is imperative to get out the door Right Away.
Example 2: "We have planned this weekend away for one year, and now little Paolo is sick." "But Paolo never gets sick!" "He did this time. Whattareyagonnado? It's Smurphy's Law."

Named after famed civil-rights advocate and professional agitator Al Sharpton, Sharpton's Law specifies that who ever brings up race or ethnicity in a non-related debate automatically loses the argument.
"I think illegal immigration represents a severe problem for both the security and economic stabilty of the United States" "What, are you scared of brown people?" "Dude, Sharpton's Law".

After the late Matthew Dutkiewicz, "Duck Law" is anything one may say at random times that has got to be (by popular decision) an utter lie and made up fictional subject to convey a point that is so untrue it has got to be true. Hence it is "Duck Law". "Duck Law" only works through persistent argument.
Matt: I'm ganna get a 5 dollar scratch-off, you ALWAYS win money off those
Leland: What? No you don't
Matt: Ya you do, all the time, it never fails bro
Leland: Your not ganna win!
Brendan: Don't argue with him.. He's pulling some sort of "Duck Law" here
