In Edinburgh when a lad from the South of England does something anti-banterous lads from Scotland will chant 'Awkward Bromley' whilst dropping one hand in a queer motion and making an England flag cross with the other

Ryan: Want to go and see the Dundee game?
James: Nah, I'm better than that, I'm from England, I'll watch the rugby instead.

Awkward-Thumbitis

An imaginary disease which one contracts when they cannot spell due to awkward thumbs. It usually occurs in adolescents, as such individuals simply cannot spell! When one is texting and they misspell a word accidentally, this is when Awkward-Thumbitis occurs.

Person 1: hey, what u foim tonight?
Person 2: what??
Person 1: dammit! *doin I have awkward-thumbitis!!

Awkward Fox

In folklore, foxes are tricksters and manipulators. In addition, foxes hunt alone and live alone, keeping their den neat and tidy. Awkward Fox is an expression that describes a person who is socially awkward, but is able to hide their awkwardness. A person who is an awkward fox doesn't appear socially awkward on the surface, but once inside his/her den, the person's awkwardness and peculiarity is apparent.

Nibu seems like an extrovert, but he's an awkward fox.

When a guy (with traditionally negative rizz levels) is socially awkward when talking to a girl, but for some unexplainable reason, the girl ends up liking the guy. Usually doesn't work.

Boy 1: "Did you see how I totally fumbled that joke with Sarah? I don't think she I was kidding about eating crickets as a way to combat my chronic vitamin d deficiency, which I was also kidding about."
