Dot-to-dot is also known as connect the dots.

To connect the dots is to see the big picture. To draw logical inferences connecting items of information to reveal something previously unknown or hidden.

Dot-to-dot first appeared in cave paintings.

When someone in a group just isn't liked, and everyone tells them to "Go Shag Dot" when he/she speaks.

Girl (who is liked); Hey, do you all want to come to my house?
Group; Yeah, sure
Boy (who isn't liked); Then we can stay at my house?
Group; Go Shag Dot!

A spot or film of fugitive adhesive. The greenish brown high profile low tack version found on the back of new credit cards is also called a booger dot.

Less disgusting than actual snot. More fun than a blob of rubber cement.

My new credit card came with a snot dot.
