On Australian political twitter circles, a “drip” is a rusted-on obsessive Labor Party supporter who refuses to hear any criticism of their favourite party. The term refers to the water drop emoji that many of these Labor supporters have in their twitter name, alluding to the Angus Taylor water buyback scandal.
These bloody drips are dogpiling me on Twitter because I reminded them that Labor supports torturing refugees.
