Someone who is insanely smart but is too lazy to put those smarts to use. Also referred to as MDG.

Guy 1: Yo, your friend Zac is super smart. Could you see if he'd be willing to tutor me in Spanish?
Guy 2: Nah boi, he's brilliant but he's lazy AF. No way he'll do it.
Guy 1: Ahh damn, I'm gonna fail Spanish because of this modern day genius. Greaaat.

Modern Geezer

Any man wearing blue jeans with white sneakers. Instantly labels you as "old and lame" with no sense of style, regardless of age. Old geezers back in the day wore penny loafers and dress slacks. Today's "modern geezer" sports Wrangler or Lees's blue jeans and white New Balance 608 running shoes.

"I see your dad is going out for dinner looking like a modern geezer!"

Moderation

Doing things with moderation and self control can sometimes be good. For every vegan, theres someone who likes a steak sometimes, but theres a difference in having a steak when you haven't had one in a while and you've been wanting one, and gobbling all the meat you can. Ice cream is the same way, toilet paper is the same way. Buying one pack of toilet paper instead of ten is possible, even if it's not easy in a pandemic.

Theres a difference in somebody really thinking they're invincible and immortal, and somebody feeling sure that they've done what they needed to do to keep going, moderation can sometimes be the difference.
