Fancy Lights

Fancy Lights, or FL's for short, are used though out the entertainment industry. They are a lighting fixtures that can have multiple control channels or parameters. Sometimes referred to as "intelligent lights" but posses no intelligence at all. Fancy Lights can be LED color changing lights, moving lights, or anything that needs more than one channel of control.

Dance teacher to theatre tech: "Hey could we use those fancy lights for our dance recital?"
Director to Lighting Designer: "This scene needs something more... lets use some of the fancy lights to give this scene a bit of pizzaz."
