The trend seen in character designs where non-human but still humanoid characters, especially aliens and anthropomorphic animals, do not wear clothing or do not wear clothing that would be seen as sufficient by humans. Pretty much always correlates with the Heats Flamesman exception (non-humans not having private parts).
