A ship-stan is a fan who obsessively supports one specific ship (real or fictional), to the point of shading or disrespecting other ships or members. Usually hyper-defensive, overly emotional, and often found starting fandom wars over fictional dynamics.

– "She’s not just a shipper, she’s a total ship-stan. Don’t mention any other pairing around her."
– “Bro, it’s just fanfiction, calm down. Don’t go full ship-stan.”
