pull-a-rishi

To suddenly disappear and become unavailable from all forms of human communication right before and during a scheduled meeting/event thereby missing the meeting/call/event.

Mostly used in a work environment but can be adapted to casual settings.
Looks like Jacob once again pulled-a-rishi, I did remind him about the daily standup meeting.

It's so common of pat to pull-a-rishi from time to time, even when we have important meetings.

We should fire the developer for pulling-a-rishi, it only because of his exceptional work that we continue working with him.

Pulling a sen is a temporary lapse in attention that normally results in an embarrassing incident. This can happen anywhere at any time. Normally occurring in internet chat rooms or multiplayer games. It can also happen while driving or other various physical activities.
A driver veers off the normal path while waving to get the attention of another driver and almost crashes. The driver of that car was just "pulling a sen".

Pulling a Schofield

To "Pull a Schofield", one has to take complete disregard for others feelings - especially close friends and family - in order to facilitate personal gain...thus screwing over your mates

A slight twist on this is the remark "classic schofield" where someone points out that someone has pulled a schofield, and another responds with "classic schofield" this is multi purpose
Will was caught 'Pulling a Schofield' this morning when he told Tom about Tims secret of cracking onto Toms sister. Tim had told him this in strict confidence.

Nikesh found out that Will had 'Pulled a Schofield' when he contacted his account to find out that Will had added himself to their suppliers list instead. Nik found this odd as they were good friends and colleagues.

Tim found Will cracking onto his mum while he was out of the room. He told Mike about this who responded 'Classic Schofield'
