Crusty's Law

The comparison of a political figure to a fictional Star Wars character in lieu of making an intelligent observation about them.

See Godwin's Law.
He said Bush and Cheney are like Darth Vader & the Emperor but Obama is like Luke Skywalker.

OK, but why doesn't he form an adult argument about it instead of resorting to Crusty's Law like a little nerd?

Smolka's 2nd Law

Smolka's 2nd Law states: Because of the eventual exhausting of resources, the expansion of growth must be stifled.
Smolka's 2nd Law illuminates the fact that taxes and inflation are not the problem but the solution. Compound interest on money, would mean that many more people would become wealthy. As, a preemptive strike, the national debt and collection of taxes insures that, that will never happen.

Newell's Law

Applies during a sale via the Steam digital distribution platform. Newell's Law states "If you buy a discounted game before the last day of a sale, it will have a more substantial discount the next day." It is named for Gabe Newell, the CEO of Valve Software.

Alternate definition applies during non-sale events, in which case the decision is made after waiting and evaluating a game's worth to purchase at full retail, then the game goes on sale the very next weekend.
Gamer 1: "I bought the Civ4 complete pack yesterday for 33% off thinking it was a great deal, but if I had just waited until today I could have bought it for 75% off!"

Gamer 2: "Newell's Law."

The Maple Bacon Law

The Maple Bacon Law as it is known is a law that can be used as an excuse to overthrow any other excuse without question.

But the excuse can only hold validity if the one using it has at least one packet of maple bacon within his household, otherwise there is no power behind the use of this law.
If Kevin decides he doesn't want to go out you invoke the Maple Bacon law which then overthrows any excuse he has therefore forcing him to adhere.

Thumper's Law

Named after the rabbit from Disney's Bambi, whose father told him "If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all." It is way of teaching of keeping derogatory comments to oneself in respect to those who aren't as able as you are to avoid conflict.
Male 1: Man, that a-hole is such a-
Male 2: Hey, remember Thumper's Law man.
Male 1: Fine, don't want any problems anyway.
