An app mostly used by Gen-Z and Millennials that allows video uploads of up to 1 minute. Users can create their own sounds or use prerecorded audio for their videos. Popular genres include dance, art, cosplay, etc. It is heavily criticized as "cringey" but as we all know, cringe culture is dead.

An app where the only way to get popular is either look attractive or know how to dance. Another way is to make a part 1 of a made up story and wait 46 videos to make a part 2 and BOOM! 40K followers in a week.

Also most people just argue in the comment sections because they have nothing better to do.

Also there are plenty of incels there who overuse simp when a guy just compliments someone.

I do NOT recommend getting the app because you WILL get addicted without realizing it.

A cringy app that has blown up this past year, filled with cosplayers (furries, weeaboos, etc) 12 year old girls , middle aged people, the amazing memers and the 20 year olds. Some 12 year olds and 20 year olds try really hard to get attention, doing all sorts of cringy things, attempting to act sexy, repeating the same thing that got them popular over and over again, etc. Some of the famous middle aged tiktokers dont realise they are only getting popular because of people making fun of them for their cringe.

Suddenly from going from the cringe compilation era, it has entered a whole new meme phase and has become the new popular thing. Somehow most people have forgotten about its past, the og musically, and ofc the cringe compilation era. But ngl, the tiktok memers are pretty funny, cant forget about them.
