Also enjoyed by the people who think small towns are a great place to never leave and by juggalos when they aren't listening to ICP. The most noteworthy examples are as follows: Nickelback, Creed, Seether, Daughtry, Three Days Grace, Hinder, etc. More commonly known as butt rock or trash metal or even "post-grunge" by those who try and justify this genre of music is even worth a non-condescending title. Popular among blue collar Americans as they lack the taste to appreciate anything they didn't hear on the radio in the mid 2000s whilst hanging out at the local Walmart.
