They are those who, having being born in the last years of the Y Generation and in the first years of the Z Generation, due to their personal circumstances, shares a lot of the traits of a millenial, if they are zoomers, or the contrary, a lot of traits of the zoomers if they're millenials.
Just as, a zoomer can have remarkable traits of the X generation and not being a true mix of differents generations, there are people born before of after the popular cohort of zillenials, and still be zillenials, or even people born between those years who are not zillenials but a millenial to the core o zoomer to the core.

Zillennials are the last years of Millennials and first years Generation Z with mixed traits of both generations. They are too young to relate to the core of Millennials but too old to relate to the core of Generation Z. Zillennials were 2000's kids and transitioned from teenagers to adults during the 2010's. The youngest in 2020 are 21 years old.
Technology evolution was a defining part of a Zillennial childhood. They grew up while technology was evolving from Analog to Digital, experiencing both worlds, opposed to millennials / generation z who typically only experienced one type.
Some of the various things Zillennials can remember are:
- Waiting at Barns & Noble as kids for the twilight books to release
- a World before social media / smart phones was popularized but too young to create social media so you had to lie about your birth years.
- the Popularization of smart phones during their years in middle and/or high school (2008-2016)

Your inability to save has you feeling like a broke victim of being a 20-30 something in a crap economy.
"I'm so broke. Our generation is so screwed," complained Carol as she sipped her cocktail at the trendiest bar in town.

Carol rolled her eyes, "You just don't get it," she said, as she paid her tab and got up to leave. She headed home to her apartment, where she turned the lights on, and got a snack from the fridge.
