Windsor terrace is a wannabe park slope. It’s too small to be as elite as park slope, but not ghetto at all, which is funny as it’s a place where white boys think they’re gangsta, the bitches are wannabe park slope bitches. The amount of drugs in this neighborhood is also extremely high.

A 200-unit residential complex in Inkster, MI, built in 1964 to house the city’s growing African American population. Nicknamed “Lil Saigon” due to Vietnam War-era violence in the area, the complex has a history marked by crime, economic struggle, and community resilience. Local gangs like the GDs operated nearby, and the area shaped Inkster’s social fabric.

Can be referenced when describing someone or something with such promise that success is almost guaranteed, but the unthinkable happens and causes it to fail. Similar in tone to the "unsinkable" Titanic, but different because although the Hampton Terrace Hotel no longer exists, its surrounding city and community are given a second chance for greatness.
Reminiscent of the ill-fated Hampton Terrace Hotel, the talented high school basketball player that so recently signed to play in the NBA suffered a near-fatal spinal cord injury last night that has surely cost him his athletic career; perhaps he can recover enough to discover new talents that will bring him a life of greatness.
