it's not my call

It's not my decision, most of the time people use it in a place of long explanation on why they cannot do or decide certain things.

Son: Mother, may i go to a football game.
Mother: It's not my call. Talk to your father.

Note: Instead of long explanation ''i am not the one to allow you to go or not to go to football games, talk to your father''. Mother gave a short reply.
