indy cred

noun.
Knowledge regarding obscure (and usually horribe) bands and movies that makes someone "indy".

Familiarity with independant movements that nobody else knows about or cares about also qualifies as "indy cred".
indie guy #1: since the arctic monkeys are no longer 'indie', i spent all night on google trying to find new indie bands that will be my new favourite band until they become mainstream even though i don't care for the music at all.
indie guy #2: whoa dude, you've got a lot of indy cred. i'm quite indie myself because i only like pre-label bands and i don't listen to anything mainstream.
indie guy #1: i know, we're so indy we even contract the word "independent" and "credibility"!

Bed Cred

Bed Cred is the reputation you gain among your peers for sexual prowess (or not, as the case may be). Bed cred is not gained only from bedroom sex, it can be gained from sex in a swimming pool, tennis court, or for extra points, bondage on ITV primetime, or other live tv shows. Interesting positions and/or use of equipment can get you extra cred, but size is the main factor - a 1 foot wonder will always beat a 1 inch wonder. Just remember, word has to get round, or no Bed Cred can be gained.
Josh lost almost all his bed cred when he split up with Jane and she admitted he only had 3 inches

net cred

The nerd equivalent of street cred. It is essentially a person's trustworthiness (or 'cred' for 'credibility') as someone who knows what's up on the Internet. The fewer degrees of separation one has from the cradles of new developments - such as following the right accounts on Twitter, being there when the very first incarnation of a new meme-to-be ever got posted on an imageboard, etc. - the more net cred one has. Essentially: a qualitative measure of one's experience with or knowledge of the Internet as a community at large.
You got 10k followers on Twitter because of your cyber news channel on YouTube? Boy, I guess you must legit have a lot of net cred with quite a few of people then, huh?
