A person who acts like a tough guy, but can't back it up. The term derives from the character of Barney Fife, the Deputy Sheriff of Mayberry on the Andy Griffith Show who often acted tough when he was obviously not tough at all.

Get the billy bad assmug. Bad Ass Justice is a group of BAMFs (see BAMF) that fight in the name of Justice. Typically, Bad Ass Justice members can be identified by their outfits that include Leather Jackets, Sunglasses and sometimes Cowboy hats. Another way to identify a Bad Ass Justice member is through their uncommon behavior and periodic shirtless training in public. Uncommon behavior could be exclaims of their cause, current social issue or advise.
