Chili barrier

A theoretical point of experience in eating chili products. Once you have reached this limit you have broken the chili barrier and chili products no longer present the physical discomfort or level of emotional intimidation they present to inexperienced chilli consumers.

The chili barrier varies from person to person. Some people never break the chili barrier and will always find eating chili to be uncomfortable.

When I was living in China, I ate so much chilli flavored food that I eventually broke the chili barrier.

Touch barrier

When an idiot thinks that someone touching you back is a big deal. If someone touches your shoulder (not skin on skin), it breaks the touch barrier. Not anywhere near first base, but still progressing apparently

Farting Barrier

The barrier that usually exists against farting in the company of each other at the outset of a new relationship. The individuals involved are usually very hesitant if not incredibly embarrassed to cross this barrier, at least not too early.

I can see you just crossed the farting barrier and you will regret that later tonight. Let me guess, a bean and cheese burrito for lunch? Excuse me while I go hang out with the dog in the other room for a while.

A wall of friends that protect indecent exposure from others. Used for women changing clothes in class to girls showing their tits.

Friend: Let's make a friend barrier.
Friends make a circle around Girl.

Guy: I dare you to show your breasts.
Girl: Fine, just make me a friend barrier.
