narcissist promotion vehicle (NPV)

1. A company or non-profit organization set up to serve the egos of its founder(s). All of its activities, while often disguised as doing "good" for society, tech start-ups, the poor, etc., is done to enhance, flatter and inflate the founder's overly important fragile self-image of him or herself.

It's obvious the tech accelerator is solely a narcissist promotion vehicle (NPV). Its website mentions its founder 95 times and only has videos of young women talking breathlessly about its 'genius' founder - - yet 99 % of its 'members' are dudes.

promstitute, n, is somebody, usually a random person that you hire to accompany you to your senior prom
*not to be mistaken with the word prostitute, promsitute services are not of any sexual nature, but merely for picture/quintessential high school purposes

For example, asking a classmate you prolly never talked to to go to prom with you because they prolly never got asked or didnt ask anybody, and of course, you dont want to look like a loser on one of the most important nights of your highschool career.
So, you ask, "Hey (insert name here), would you mind being a promstitute on prom?"

promotion demotion

Being promoted to a position that sucks worse than your current position. Your new title may include such misleading terms as "senior" or "manager" but in fact mean more hours for less pay and a false sense of moving forward in the company.

low guy on totem pole: Hey Stu, congrats on your promotion demotion last week!

Stu: (eyes red, hair greasy, piles of papers in heaps on his desk) Thanks bro, it's great finally being a Senior Manager in the office. I work 70 hours a week now but I'm making $800 more a year and I'm really valued here!
