Belegarth

The Belegarth Medieval Combat Society is a foam weapon combat sports organization, operating as a not for profit corporation. It is composed of a number of realms, which compete at regional and national events every year. Typically, each realm also holds individual fighting practices several times a week. Realms vary in size from just a handful of people to over a hundred fighters. Unlike most other boffer or foamfighting groups, however, Belegarth is a full contact sport that allows hard hitting, shield bashes, and grappling

Belegarth Medieval Combat Society is a sport where participants fight with foam padded safety equipment made to reflect medieval weaponry. The sport's combat is hard hitting and fast-paced, governed by a set of easy-to-learn rules, and requires a level of skill and aggression that challenges its participants to be physically fit.

Belch Wash

Much like "jet wash" (the rapidly moving gases expelled from a jet engine), "Belch Wash" is the preferably vile and unpleasant gasses produced by a belch expelled in the proximity of another person who unknowingly and unavoidably walks through it, ingesting the odorous contents of the belcher's stomach and expresses a negative reaction.

After a couple Scotch on the rocks at the bar, I enjoyed a fine halibut filet in garlic cream sauce, steamed broccoli with jasmine rice. Rich and delicious! While walking out of the restaurant I quietly expelled a hot gaseous belch. My unsuspecting wife walking behind me passed right into my Belch Wash, almost yarped and exclaimed “Thanks, I just walked through your Belch Wash"
