Somebody getting neurotic about something and inviting others into their crazy thought process.

Guy #1: jen was tripping about kim saying "this place smells like a hospital." Then, jen started asking her friends to unfriend kim and take her side.

Guy#2: it sounds like jen is road tripping, asking all her friends to get in on her neurosis.
