A word used that often means being overly senstitive to issues of race, gender, sexuality, and other forms of social inequality, and being commit to prmoting justice and equality.

Person 1: Have you seen the news?
Person 2: No, I don't watch the news.
Person 1: I stay woke by watching the news!

A term used mostly used by racial separatist. This group of "woke" people insist that the majority of Caucasian people are racist, when in reality it is them, the "woke" who are the racist. Continually they separate people by color of their skin.

My friend is woke and is not a racist.
