Any follower of the Indian religion known as Thugge. Traditionaly Thugs traveled through India in small groups sticking to back roads. When they came across travelers they would strangle them with silk scarves and bury the bodies. The Thugs were destroyed by the Brittish military in the late 1800's.

Last week my brother went to town and never came back. I think it was the Thugs.
