Alot of great actors and comedians got famous through SNL; Chris Farley, Adam Sandler, David Spade, Jay Mohr, Billy Murray, Eddie Murphy, Billy Crystal, Tim Meadows, Will Ferrel, Chevy Chase, Dan Aykroyd and more.

Sadly, the show was canceled due to a change in leadership at ABC and being stacked up against the lackluster Power Rangers in the same time block.
