A type of immigrant in which once they settle down in said country they act towards wanting to restrict immigration, therefore kicking the ladder from under them.

Person 1: I voted for the candidate that’s harsh on immigration.
Person 2: but you’re an immigrant!
Person 3: they’re a ladder immigrant
