D-beat is a drum beat, specifically a fast rock beat unique to Hardcore Punk, especially in its UK and European variants. Its name is derived from the British band Discharge, as the best-known use of this style can be attributed to their drummer Terry/Tezz. All over the world, D-beat has a cult following and has developed most heavily in Scandinavia, Japan, and Brazil. It is a contemporary term most common outside North America. D-beat bands almost exclusively have anti-war, anarchist messages and closely follow the bleak nuclear-war imagery of 1980s Crust punk bands, often to the point that you can tell a D-beat record by its exact imitation of Discharge album covers.

A band which prides itself on being a very foul, if not hi-fucking-larious band that uses only acoustic instruments.

bHalf Black half Cherokee San Diego born rappepr. Grew up in San Diego, CA, Escondido CA, Jackson MS, Little Rock AR, Corpus Christi TX, and Kansas City, MO. Ironically, despite the name Dolla D distributes most of his music for free, feeling that hip hop is supposed to make everyone feel good. Dolla D is currently unsigned but his swagger and lyricism is unmatched. Probably the best undiscovered West Coast rapper, with his laid back voice sardonic instrumentals, and inspiring lyrics Dolla D combines West Coast gangster rap with Dirty South hooks, and East Coast strory telling. Though Dolla D prefers not to be compared to other rappers, critics say his sound is a unique blend of Lupe Fiasco, Drake, Lloyd Bank$, Kanye West, and Ca$his.
