Close of Play

Increasingly common on business bullshit bingo cards the English-speaking world over, 'close of play' is the latest way to say '5.30', presumably employed by people a) to make the working day seem more fun, by describing it as 'play' b) because they are cunts.

Presumably, like the equally execrable 'touch base', the expression originated in a shit American sport.

So where are we gonna be by close of play?

We're not playing. I'm working. You're talking like a prick.

Ok, I need to touch base with the client before close of play.

Spongebob Close-up

A technique used in various cartoons in which the camera zooms into a character's face revealing disgusting or grotesque features (ex. bloodshot eyes, nosehairs, pimples, etc.) that usually are not noticed when the camera is at a certain distance from the character. Commonly used in the show "Spongebob Squarepants".

Clog Job

The art and science of clogging and overflooding a toilet. A Clog job can be done intentionally for fun as a prank, or can happen un-intentionally from overuse of paper or low water pressure in the restroom's plumbing.
When too much paper and waste is in the bowl, and the toilet is flushed repeatedly, the water will overfill the bowl and flood the bathroom. Panic and laughter follow closely thereafter.
